Participation in the BWK NRW Landeskongress 2026 in Aachen focusing on urban resilience, circular economy, soil and water management, and digital innovation in engineering.
On April 23, 2026, we had the opportunity to attend the Landeskongress 2026 "Urban Environment: City, Soil, Water" organized by the Bund der Ingenieure für Wasserwirtschaft, Abfallwirtschaft und Kulturbau (BWK NRW) in Aachen.
The event brought together experts from academia, industry, and public administration to discuss key topics such as urban resilience, circular economy in construction, PFAS contamination and remediation, as well as the use of digital technologies and AI in environmental engineering.
Beyond the technical program, the congress also offered a valuable opportunity to visit Aachen – a beautiful and historic city with a strong engineering tradition.
As a relatively new member of the BWK network since October, we highly value the exchange with industry experts and the opportunity to position ourselves as a growing service provider in the field of water industry digitalization and industrial automation.
We would like to thank BWK NRW for the excellent organization and the inspiring discussions throughout the event.
If these topics resonate with your challenges, we’re happy to discuss your operational context and explore whether Nexon Data is the right fit.
